Daan van Loenhout takes you on a philosophical journey that lets the senses 'think along'.

The philosophical dinner is easy to follow for anyone with a reasonable understanding of the Dutch language.
On Saturday, June 27, a special dinner will take place at Community Center De Wielewaal in De Waal on Texel:
“The Philosophical Dinner”, where insights into the known and the unknown are illustrated through experiences by philosophical artist Daan van Loenhout from Oosterend. It will be a journey of seeing, hearing, smelling, and tasting. The latter will be provided by Pastorie De Waal in an unexpected and flavorful way through a 5-course menu including a welcome drink, a cocktail, or a glass of wine.
These sensory experiences in the form of flavors, sound fragments and compositions, and light objects form a major part of this presentation and contribute significantly to the spoken content, becoming one integrated whole.
The floor area in front of the stage will be transformed into a light artwork, within which you will be seated at a table together with several others.
The event starts at 5:00 PM and lasts until 8:00 PM, with a possible slight extension. No prior philosophical knowledge is required to follow this performance.
